Social Groups
If you are a group just wanting to play a round or a group wishing to play a round and have access to the club house facilities please contact our Golf Coordinator. to discuss details.
Corporate Golf Groups
If you are a business or organisation there is an opportunity to hire the course for a day or days. For details regarding hire of the course please contact our Golf Coordinator. Prices and arrangements are dependent on a number of factors including:
– The date requested
– The size of your group
– How long you require the course for
– Are you playing 18 or 9 holes
– Catering and bar requirements before, during and after the game
– Nature of competition
– Sponsors signage and regalia
Functions & Events
As with any self-respecting golf course, Methven’s 19th is almost an institution and the clubhouse is available for weddings, a family get together, conferences and just good old fashioned fun after a round on one of New Zealand’s finest country courses.
The array of accommodation in Methven, which is literally just around the corner from the golf course, can cater to any taste or budget. So if you’re traveling through the region there’s always a place to stay.
Either as a destination in itself, or as a stop off on your way through New Zealand’s majestic South Island, the Methven Golf Club deserves to be atop your list of country clubs to play.
We are able to cater in the clubhouse for up to 140 people – prices and arrangements include:
– Club house hire
– Kitchen hire
– Bar hire including staff costs
– Special licence cost
– Courtesy vehicle cost
– Cleaning costs
